

Donada Rata
Research Fellow and Director of Fundraising
Donada RATA is a doctoral researcher at the University of Luxembourg specializing in European Union enlargement policy, with a focus on EU governance, democratic conditionality, and institutional dimensions of democracy and security.
Her academic work is complemented by hands-on experience engaging with policymakers and civil society actors through her previous roles at Amnesty International Luxembourg and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs in Tirana, where she contributed to policy-relevant work on democratic standards, governance, and EU integration processes.
In addition, she has collaborated with non-governmental organisations in Albania on social development initiatives and youth engagement related to European integration, gaining practical experience at the intersection of civil society advocacy, institutional reform, and democratic governance.
She earned her master’s degree in European governance from the University of Luxembourg in 2025.
