The European Strategy Institute Luxembourg is an independent think tank based in Luxembourg, focused on Europe’s role as a political actor on the global stage and Luxembourg’s position within it. Our work addresses the institutional, economic, and security foundations that shape European power.
At a time when political norms are being weakened, contested, or abandoned, ESILUX seeks to contribute to a renewed strategic vision of Europe as a normative power. Not as an abstract ideal, but as a political project that must be articulated, debated, and defended.

Through research, expert dialogue, and public engagement, we seek to contribute to informed debate on Europe’s strategic choices – and on Luxembourg’s role within them.
